Just want to say Thank you sooo much for posting this link. The atrocities relating to dogs abroad, especially in Greece, is beyond belief. I am in contact with several owners of Rescues over there, who continually battle against the non-existant laws regarding the welfare of their animals !!!. Even the Mayor hands out poisons on a regular basis, to clean up the streets of stray dogs, and dont get me on the level of absolute abuse, torture and murder these dogs go through, its appalling!!!
I know how full all our rescues are here, but many of their Rescues can go straight into LOVING, CARING homes.Oh for a perfect world for animals when they can live free and safe, without prejudice!!!! Many. many thanks. xx |
