Little Addy was at the vets today to be speyed, and I'm pleased to say there was nothing untoward in there that could of been causing the bleeding. The vet confirmed that she has had puppies in the past though.

Addy really did give me a scare on Sunday, as she somehow managed to get her stitches out. The horror part though (and I’m trying not to be to graphic here) but the things the stitches were supposed to keep in, had slipped out.  Gregg rushed Addy and I to the vets, where she had emergency surgery, and the vet confirms that although all the vital organs are present, there is part of the omentum (a layer of fat which is connected to the stomach) missing. The vet thinks she may of ate it.

I’m pleased to announce though that Addy has recovered ok, and Sharon was able to pick her up from the vets today, I’m taking her back on Wednesday for a check up, so will keep you posted.

It was a shock to all of us, but goodness knows how Addy felt. She spent the night at my house last night anyway.   Wink

Fright! I still feel physically sick when I picture it.

Looks like she's settling ok at my house, so hopefully she's on the mend.

Here's some pictures from Sunday before things went bolistic.

You might be right John, if you could see her curled up not far from Sky right now.
