The Famous Bouncer

I've heard so much about this big guy, that when the need to move him arose, I knew I had to give him that chance.

I don't need to tell the people in Birmingham about him, he was there long enough, think Scooby might have a rival for that Fan Club.
ladykeli

i heard there was tears from at least one of the girls, when he went.

Life at SHAK started for Bouncer today, as me and Gregg took big Bouncer out with Polly. His reputation as a ladies man has travelled with him, and Bouncer didn’t disappoint. Polly wasn’t so keen, but it was nice to have the both out together. Bouncer was a little bit grumbly when I approached his kennel, but as soon as he saw the lead he lightened up. He is a nice big lad, who will be joining Aunty Sharon’s “Bit’s off” club, I just wish we could work out what he is. My money is Dog de Bordeaux cross mastiff, but hey what do I know.

Good luck lovely Bouncer, it will be strange not seeing you wuffing at the front of the kennel, and sniffing your way around the field.

all these dogs not just from birmingham but from alll over the u.k. have come to hevan were they have the time and love that they all need. and it only started 3 years ago with just one man and now it has loads helping these beautiful dogs to gain trust and friendship in humans again.

Need you as my PR man bud.

Thanks fella. I appreciate it. I just do what I think is right though.
wrightk-9

lol love too mate tell me when i start lol hehe
hollysmom

Well John I think your first job might be teaching Stephen to speak with a Brummie or Black Country accent, just in case the dogs have trouble understanding the northern accent which might hinder their training lol
wrightk-9

well that will be difficult as i am from doncaster yorkshire and its took me 12 years lol  hehe

Having spent some time with "Big Red" this weekend, I find it so unbelievable to think he has been wasting him time in kennels since February. He is loving, affectionate, playful and so handsome. And all this coming from a GSD lover  Wink

Here's a few pictures, he won't pose for the camera though   Mad

On this next one, that isn't his shadow, thats Harlie saying hello.

Bouncer spent some time in the SHAK office today, exploring and giving kisses and cuddles to Sharon.  He showed that he is well named when he "bounced" up on to the top of the table to have his lead put on to go back to his kennel!

Well done to Bouncer who went to his first SHAK event today, the Meet and Greet at Pets at Home. He was superb all the way through out  the day, and even gained an admirer. Keep you posted if things develop  Wink

Bouncer sweetheart, I have had the pleasure of 'working' with you over the last few weeks, from the farm to the rescue, and you are such a loving beautiful playful boy, i like steve really dont understand how u ended up with us. You were starting to look painfully thin, but  the last 10 days you have started to gain weight, your coat looks great, and ur still ur lovable playful self.

When we went out on our walk together yesterday, just u and me, u were a perfect gent, no pulling, no jumping, we stopped and had kisses and cuddles, a gaze at the open fields, and i've love to let u off to run free big red, and i'm pretty positive providing there was none of those big white fluffy things in the field that you'd come straight back.

I hope someone falls in love with you soon, and takes u home with them, gives u the love and life u so deserve. Till then, i'll look forward to my kisses and cuddles as often as i can, love u big red, xxx
