So AngryI am so angry. On Friday morning I collected Linus a boxer cross to take him from Leicestershire to York. No, not to take him to a new loving home but back to Rescue. The family who had rehomed him called the Rescue on Thursday and said he had to be out by the following morning as he was aggressive and they were going on holiday on Friday afternoon. When I arrived to collect him the woman started to make excuses and said that although he was very good with her dog and children, the previous evening when they were out he had attacked another dog and because he was aggressive were returning him. I asked her how long she had had him and she said TWO DAYS!!! Why can't these poor dogs be given a chance to settle. If I hadn't been able to take him to York that day, I dread to think what would have happened to him. He is such a lovely boy and, although quite big, very quiet and gentle. Just curled up in the car and slept on the journey.
He does not do well in kennels and it broke my heart to leave him there. Please let him find a forever home soon where he will be safe, secure and loved.
