Otto the MalinoisHello I am a Malinois (Belgian Shepherd), and I came up with Bruce at the last minute, and I am so grateful. I don't have a name yet, but Gregg said he was working on it.
I met a lot of people tonight when we arrived, and I like them all. I told Stephen how grateful I was to be here:
I love people, and I don't mind other dogs, but will not take them getting too fruity. I do love cuddles and kisses with people though. Look.....

This handsome boy met more of the SHAK team today, and gave out a lot of cuddles and kisses, he is still wary of strangers when they approach, but he is so lovable.

Hello, i'm Otto it seems, tho i must say i think i am more of an Arty or Remy myself, but typical men ! Which guys, by the way, human and fellows, I am most definitely one of you, so will u all stop trying to hump me !!! I might be little, but u notice my black face? I'm like mohammed ali, float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, so please i say, dont try and mount me !!!
Anyway, just wanted to let u know, despite the name change, i'm really happy here, been out the last 2 days with 2 nice ladies and ollie, and today i got to go sniff around this huge place the lady called the office. The lady kept giving me toys to play with but all i wanted to do was give her cuddles, she gave me little treats on our walk and kept telling me what a good boy i was for walking nicely by her side, even when the big lorries went by, so i thought i should give something back
The lady had to go then but she said she'd see me soon and we'd go out again. I'm looking forward to that, but I wish i had my own special family to give cuddles to for being a good boy, someday soon, i'm sure, but when is soon?

Aunty Sharon gave me more cuddles this week in the office....I'm a lucky SHAK boy!! Shame it was spoilt though by someone called Jonathon.........I wasn't too sure about him and then I got an even tighter squeeze from Aunty Sharon and that Jonathon stuck something sharp in me. Mind you I did get a big kiss and a treat afterwards so it wasn't too bad I suppose.

I have to admit to being very fond of Otto. He seemed to enjoy his walk today, we took him with little Addy and he was quite relaxed around her.....obviously a ladies' man.

This little fella has had it tough, and had got himself so stressed. It was leading to some serious behavioural issues, but I have been trying to stimulate his mind as much as I can and he has been so calm the last 10 days. As you can see he seems to be enjoying life.

Oh poor Otto, so suprised he's still waiting bless him. Hasnt anyone shown any interest at all? Its not suprising that many originally calm dogs will start going off the rails after being kennelled so long, no matter how hard you try and stimulate them. Theres nothing like a warm fireside with a lovely family, I hope he carries on being a good lad for you. Fingers crossed for you Otto xx
