Jasmine's JotterHello people, my name is Jasmine, and I came to SHAK today. A nice girl called Wendy drove me and then I met Stephen. I like him, he took me for a walk by the river. Then we went to this place where there was other dogs, and I got my own room!
I'm a very shy girl, but so far everyone seems really nice, I think I'm going to like it here.

I've had a great first day at the farm, after all the upheavel last night. I've met loads of people, and other dogs. It's always busy there, but it is so relaxed.
Tonigt, the man who brought me here turned up with a handsome German Shepherd called Oskar. We met and kissed, and then we went into the house where the people live.
It was really good fun, and I liked Oskar. He said he'd see me tomorrow, but thats what all the boys say.

Another mad day, as I start to settle into my new surroundings. Oskar the big German Shepherd I met yesterday came to see me again. We spent half an hour in a run together. I like him. He tells me about living with Stephen and and what its like having a family that love you.
Next, I meet Scooby for a walk. All the other dogs have said to be careful with Scooby, but I feel sorry for him. He has been badly treated. Still he showed me a great place to watch the sunset.
It's such an exciting time for me, I even played with Oliver in the run too.

What a great day I have had today. Oskar came and picked me up, and then we went to his house. He tried to teach me how to play, and how to just relax and have fun.
We were out in the sunshine for hours, and then I even spent a little bit of time in the house. They have this funny box in the corner, that has loads of moving things and makes a noise. I've never seen anything like it before. It scared me a little bit.
Hope I can go back there soon, I was a very good girl. Oskar is fun. Here's some pictures.

Thursday 18 June...
I had a trip out tonight with Uncle Stephen - first it was a visit to the shop to try on some new collars (got a really nice red one), then it was off to the dog training club. There was so much going on - dogs running around and jumping over hurdles, climbing high walls and walking round in circles - I didn't know where to look first and everyone wanted to see me and give me treats!!! I was a bit nervous at first, but met some really friendly people and dogs, and after a while I wanted to go around everyone to see what they were doing (and what sort of tasty treats they had).
Hope I can go back again soon!

Jasmine had her first visit to the dog training club tonight. She was a bit nervous about getting into the car but behaved perfectly once she was in. It was a busy night for her with lots of activities going on around her and she was fascinated by everything. At first she was quite nervous and shy when people were coming over to see who the new girl was, but they all gave her plenty of time and space to check them out before offering her a hand or a treat. She said hello to everyone really nicely in her own time and after a while was visibly calmer and more relaxed and even started moving forward to greet people and touch them as her confidence grew.
As it was her first time, I didn't want to push her at all, so we watched the training class doing their heelwork and stays from a distance but walked past them a couple of times while we did our own very short exercises. I don't think Jasmine has ever had any kind of training, but even one sit for a treat was a good start.
Tonight was all about socialising and meeting new people and dogs and she did it really well. A few of her new friends commented on the change in her in the short time that we were there, saying how relaxed she was at the end of the night and just happy to watch what was going on. As with Kai's training, we will take our time and go at Jasmine's pace.
Then it was back to the car (and she jumped straight in!) and back home to the farm

She's a gorgeous girl. It's such a shame that she has lead such a sheltered life. Thanks for taking her Stephen, things like that will do her so much good.

Aunty Sharon popped her head in to say hello on Friday night.....I was very brave and when I went to see her I got some yummy treats.....they call them hot dogs....yumm.
On Saturday we all went for a walk but it was very wet! I walked with the nice man who took me to his house and my friend Scooby. I kept looking for my best friend Oliver.

Got all excited today, as Stephen came and took me into one of the fields. We palyed with a blue toy, I could go get it because I wasn't on my lead, it was great fun.

What an exciting day, these new people turned up, and Stephen and Gregg took me to meet them. They had the biggest Bull Mastiff I've ever seen, called Nero, but he was nice and friendly. We all went for a walk, and I really liked the lady who had me.
The humans spent ages just sitting talking, whilst me and Nero just hung out, then we got in the camper and whilst Stephen and Gregg walked away???
My new friends said I had to call them Mam and Dad, and that they were taking me to Scotland? I don't know where that is, I'm from Yorkshire.
I miss Stephen, I went to his house remember, but I really like my new Mam.
I promise to keep in touch, and thank you to everyone who looked after me.

Just an Update from Jasmine's new Dad:
Hi stephen got home safe and sound, jasmine is having a ball,nervous but after five mins loves everybody(bit like some of the other women ive fed and watered haha) ive attached a file of her in the garden with my daughter and nero. You all do a great job mate keep it up,and i'll keep you posted as to how things progress with jasmine. All the best mate.Barry,hayley, nero,jasmine
