Introducing Morgan.
Hello, my name is Morgan, and I arrived at SHAK today with my best pal Bobby. I think my Mam was a Rottweiler, but no one knows what my Dad was.
I am terrified of everything, and Bobby helps me so much. I'm pleased I'm here with him. I was so scared at the pound I was in they needed to use a pole to get me in the kennel.
Yawn, its been a long day x

Morgan.....we all love you here at SHAK already. We won't ever hurt you and lots of love will be lavished on you especially from the SHAK girls (we can't resist a handsome chap!) so you just watch your mate Bobby and follow his lead.

I was a very good boy for Jonathon....he gave me something called a needle! Anyway I didn't mind I was too busy trying to escape from Auntie Sharon....hee hee!

I had a walk along by the river today with Scooby. I think he must be famous - I saw his picture on a t-shirt!

Morgan has now been castrated, with a little bit more confidence, this boy will really blossom.

I had a nice walk with Morgan yesterday, and noticed a real improvement in his walking on lead. He pulled for a few minutes then really settled down and relaxed. He seems to be a little bit nervous of traffic passing close by, but thats something to work on. We stopped to do some training and he did well with some basic commands.
well done Morgan!

Quite a long walk today with Morgan, and he walked very well on a loose lead all of the way - no pulling at all! We walked along a couple of quite busy roads to work on his slight nervous reaction around traffic and he did very well, stopping for treats as cars past by and he actually showed no reactions at all to the traffic today, so that's a real improvement!

Morgan went on Home Trial today, after having several dates with the beautiful Bella. Here is an email and picture of the new Mrs Morgan ha ha:
Its thursday 12th november michael pete and bella made a second visit to see morgan after another great meet morgan came home with us on a trial visit
He entered our home and after a quick exploration he ran outside into the garden with bella the two of them knee deep in mud The kitchen floor had more soil on it than the lawn after a big bowl of food and a custard cream buiscuit me and peter had our tea helped along by bella and morgan no one can say they are hungry
i ran a bath and with a little encouragement morgan had a bath needless to say who was wetter but he seemed to enjoy his first bath he now smells and looks great he liked the drying part both me and peter rubbing him down with towels he loved it his tail has never stopped wagging heres to a happy new life we will keep you all posted

Another update on Morgan. Must admit I was laughing when I was told this story on the phone (sorry Michael lol):
"another settled day michael is tired bella and morgan thought it fun to play chasey at 3am up and down stairs like a hurd of elephants a few stern words went on deaf ears all michael got was a sloppy kiss off morgan as bella stood at bottom of stairs wooffing up at morgan who was looking as if butter wouldnt melt i knew there were eight legs involved in the chase not just four well as long as hes settled im ok for the moment i will let them off this time."

Latest update from Morgan…..Sat 14th November great nights sleep. Morgan and Bella slept all night, Michael had lie in as peter was at work only to wake up with both dogs asleep on bed with him. Morgan has taken control over Bella’s beloved rag (piece of old cloth Bella likes to play with) they are now playing tug of war both very strong dogs, but Bella is getting dragged round and wont let go. Another few hours in garden and another inch of mud on kitchen floor to clean. Its 1pm and they are both sleeping in front of fire exhausted after tearing around the garden. They both like spaghetti and meatballs, well you have to spoil them for being good. Why didn’t anyone want Morgan will always make me wonder he’s a fine lad who just needed a bit love and attention which he’s getting plenty of. Looks like he’s got his paws under our table alright

Bless u morgan sweetheart, i've been hearing of ur antics first hand, and i know you've won the hearts of ur new parents michael and peter, as well as ur new sweetheart bella, ur a very lucky boy, xx It's lovely to see u this weekend babe, but i hope u have found ur forever home with bella, michael and peter, sounds like ur the perfect addition to the family, good luck baby boy, xx
