Just a couple of pics of Venus who arrived up here safe and sound today! What a darling, and after a thorough check up at the vets (shes only 17kg), she moved onto her new temporary home. The vet put her at a lot younger than 5 we were told she was (Max 2), and I must admit I agree with her. She loves a football, and is so trusting despite what has happened to her. Thanks to everyone involved in getting her up here!

Venus has such a beautiful face.  I've been speaking to Jude who helped transport her to Shak and she said what a truly wonderful girl she is.   Venus is safe now and hopefully it won't be long before she finds her forever home.

What an absolute darling Venus was when she came to the vets on Saturday to think what she has gone through and to be so trusting and friendly is beyond me but these guys and gals never cease to amaze me.

She had a good old sniff around the reception area with me and of course sniffed out the food immediatley what a little gem she is Smile
