I would like to introduce myself, my name is Reise pronounced Rice-er. I am an all black GSD. My Mum and Dad adopted me in July 08 and had really no idea who they were taking into their pack, I am really intelligent, but have a dark side - I do not like other dogs, thankfully my family are doing all they can to help me and I am slowly getting better. I know that they will not give up on me and that I am trying my best. Physically I am doing very well indeed, however, my little problem will take longer than 6 months. My history is not something that is good bedtime reading and therefore I shall not dwell on it, to quote one of my favourite TV show hosts "I live in the moment". The purpose of this entry on SHAK is to let readers know that with patience, things do improve for dogs that have a dark past thanks to humans like Stephen and of course others prepared to take on a challenge through Ruff patches (excuse the pun).
I would like to post a picture of myself but my dozy owners are not very good with computers - can anyone let me know how please - instructions must be suitable for the slow learner. Thank you.
